This video is still in that magical phase where the YouTube view count is 301 but there are a thousand likes, so you know by the end of the week it’ll have a million views. Because this, like Dollar Shave Club, is one of those “clever viral video ads” that manages to actually be clever even without the “…for a commercial” handicap.
This is a response by Bodyform, a European maxi pad brand, to a pretty cute and hugely popular comment on their Facebook page. It is smart, playful, and decently honest (disclosure: I’ve never had a period).
